My Story

After more than 30 years in the hairdressing industry, I’ve come to deeply understand why I was drawn to this craft at just 15 years old. Back then, I had no idea how profoundly it would shape my life-not just as a career, but as a calling.

Hairdressing has always been more than creating a beautiful style. It’s the connection, the stories, the shared moments that unfold in the chair. Over the years, I’ve learned that great hair can transform more than how someone looks-it can shift how they feel, both physically and emotionally. And witnessing that transformation has filled my soul in ways I never expected.

From conversations about life to the quiet, meaningful exchanges that naturally grow between stylist and client, this work has given me purpose, joy, and a sense of community. Watching someone leave my space with renewed confidence, a spring in their step, and light in their eyes absolutely lights me up.

So I say thank you-to a profession that has given me just as much as I have given to it. This craft has shaped me into who I am today: warm, heartfelt, creative, and deeply committed to the people who trust me with their stories and their transformation.

Now, I’m stepping into a new chapter-one I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve created a space I not only adore, but one I’m truly excited to share. It is open to stylists and therapists who want to grow, create, connect, and be part of something meaningful. A place where we can support one another, lift each other up, and enjoy this beautiful industry as much as I do.

The vision behind the salon.

Pure began as a quiet niggle - to create something more than a salon. For our founder Tracy Creasy, it was about crafting a space where care and connection could be felt in every detail. A place where expert styling and colour meet deeply restorative head spa and caring rituals. Where people could come not just for amazing hair, but to feel cared for.

An experienced stylist known for her calm presence and thoughtful approach, Tracy brings decades of experience to Pure. Formerly the owner of Pure Hair in Wagga Wagga, she’s now settled on the South Coast and has poured her heart into this next chapter. Every element of the salon - from the gentle lighting to the essential oils, soft textures and curated products - has been carefully considered to create a sense of ease the moment you walk through the door.

Whether you’re coming in for a seasonal refresh or a moment of stillness, PURE is a space to unwind, reconnect, and feel cared for.

Behind the Build

Creating PURE Hair & Wellness has been a labour of love - not just in design and construction, but in dreaming up a space that feels calm, considered, and completely different from the usual salon experience. From the first pencil sketches to choosing the perfect tone of driftwood flooring, every decision has been guided by one intention: to create something quietly beautiful that makes people feel at ease the moment they walk in.

These moodboards show just a glimpse of the inspiration behind the space and the brand … soft lighting, warm organic shapes, thoughtful layout and that perfect balance of comfort and elegance. There’s been timber, tools and lots of coffee along the way. And as the walls go up and each chair finds its place, it’s exciting to watch a vision become reality; a sanctuary in the heart of Milton, where care, craft, and calm come together.
